Who We Are
The Caring Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides financial assistance to cancer patients in need in North Carolina. CCF assists with rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, and other monthly expenses that become even more difficult to manage in the face of cancer treatment. The goal is to alleviate financial stress for cancer patients so they can focus on getting better.
Since 2001, CCF has provided over $3 million in emergency financial assistance to cancer patients in need. The help we give is only possible because of the generosity of people like you—some of whom were affected by cancer themselves and some who simply understand the power of making a difference in the lives of others.
Through food assistance, educational programs, emergency support, and volunteer initiatives, we connect people with the resources and human connection that transforms lives.

2026 Pay It Forward Event
The Pay It Forward Event: A Night in Monte Carlo sets the stage for an unforgettable evening of dinner, cocktails, casino games, and live music, capped by our legendary live auction where every paddle raised changes a life.
This year, we also honor CCF patrons Sybil Carpenter Hobbs and Stuart Hobbs with a special Lifetime Achievement tribute. The stakes are high, the energy is electric, and the dance floor is waiting. You won't want to miss it.
